Captions: why some videos are skipped
Back to GuidesSummarizer.xyz writes from YouTube’s own transcript. On Free and Pro it does not generate speech from the soundtrack. If a video has no captions, it is skipped.
That limit keeps the note honest. A transcript invented from noisy audio is a different product. It costs more to run, it fails in uneven ways, and it is easy to trust more than it deserves.
Most channels people follow for work and study already publish captions. Interviews, talks, and explainers usually have them. Those are the videos this tool is built for. A clip with no captions is often a short, a teaser, or something that was never meant to be quoted.
When a video is skipped, you will see that in the account. The daily summary slot is not used, and notes you already have are left as they are.
If you need text from videos that have no captions, that is a separate job and it is not part of the plan. For now, follow sources that already put the words on the screen.
